George, a Philco staff designer, created this award winning camera-like radio, model PT-89, in 1939 which was molded out of tenite plastic, a Tennessee-Eastman product.

The picture on the right is the design patent drawing for the Radiobar for which Mr. Krause received credit. He was the president (and owner) of the Radiobar company located in Los Angeles, California.

Radio Lamp This radio-lamp was designed by Richard Hollerith in 1953 when he worked briefly for Philco as a new graduate designer. Radio lamps of all kinds were made throughout the years by various manufacturers and other than the present day camper-utility versions, they are a thing of the past.
