The above pattern, made of cotton, has a 2-1/2" wide wave and is similar to but smaller than pattern #28 that is used on some Zenith 1939 consoles.  
This generic console pattern (the scan is a bit dark, but it has a slight green/gold tint just like the originals) is used in many early to mid 1930's consoles such as the Philco 90 pictured (right). generic console pattern
